Non-Player Characters, or NPCs, are those often found in the background of things. Simply put, they're "fillers". NPCs will bulk the Clan Rosters and will help get threads going without having to wait for other members to join a thread, thus avoiding having the thread go cold.
NPCs are playable site-wide, meaning any member may request to have an NPC make an appearance in a thread. You may find the NPC list and request form here.
Important things to take into account:
1. No NPC may be in more than three threads at a time.
2. Members may not control an NPC's thoughts, just their actions.
3. NPCs may participate in Gatherings.
4. You may not kill off or seriously harm an NPC without a Staff Member's permission. Fights and minor wounds are permitted though.
5. NPCs may mate and have kits, you may request so from a Staff Member.
6. You may only create 2 NPCs per Clan, 5 for StarClan, and 4 for Non-Clanners.
7. NPCs will age. So if you created an apprentice/kit, they will move up in rank when the time comes.
9. If you want your created NPC to be exclusively for your use, this NPC may be locked so no other member may refer to it.
If you have any questions regarding this subject, feel free to PM me!

Happy creating, here's the form:
[b]Picture:[/b] Link a picture for your kitty here!
[b]Name:[/b] NPC name
[b]Rank:[/b] Warriors, Apprentices, Elders, Kits, Queen and Non-Clanners. No HPs.
[b]Age:[/b] -- moons
[b]Gender and Orientation:[/b] -- she-cat, tom, hetero, homo, pan, bi, etc etc.
[b]Clan:[/b] may also be a loner, rogue, kittypet. StarClan may also be included here, but the NPC will be used for prophecies and/or visiting created character's dreams.
[b]Brief Description:[/b] only point out the necessary details for other people to be able to refer to them properly in their writing.
Example: A short tom-cat with a stubby tail. His coat is brown a curly with a distinct path of white over his left ear. He has a pink nose and an ugly scar running over one shoulder. Amber eyes.
[b]Quick Description:[/b] Simpler than the previous description, like the one in the Playable Character's biography form. This is to add your NPC to the Clan Roster Allegiances.
[b]Personality:[/b] Simple and to the point is the best way to go! Since NPCs can't have their thoughts controlled, focus more on their actions and how other cats will see them. Again, remember, you can only control NPC's actions, not thoughts.
[b]History:[/b] Include relationships with created characters and other NPCs here. You can be as detailed as you'd like.
[b]Adoptable:[/b] may this NPC be adopted by another member? If so, when adopted, they will be fleshed out under a "Biography Form" and be role-played like any other created character. If the NPC is not up for adoption, a simple "no" will do.
[b]Locked:[/b] Yes or No. If affirmative, you are the only member allowed to use this NPC.
[b]Created by:[/b] your name here!
[b]Tag:[/b] tag a staff member when you're finished writing out the form!
