In the center of the sandy camp clearing is an ominously tall boulder that raises up toward the sky. Here the current leader of WindClan scrambles to the top in order to address their Clan. Different types of ceremonies and meetings can be held from here, while the deputy sits below at the edge of the stone.

Though the WindClan leader hardly uses his den, it is located near the back of the Tallrock. A small prickly area that is protected by heather and bracken that has been woven into the edges of the camp wall. This makes for a small area below where the leader can leave a nest. However, usually the leader is found sleeping within the center of clan mates beneath the stars.
Located in a shaded corner of the camp, against another boulder, lies the Medicine cat den of WindClan. The entrance to the den is a rather small crevice that seemingly splits the rock in two. Here a cat can squeeze there way into a small clearing with protective rock and gorse overhead. Other small boulders are used as shelving for the important herbs and poultices, while another small crack serves as more easy storage.

An old badger set, long ago losing its scent of the vile creature, is where the warriors of WindClan make there den. Deep inside the old space it is warm and dark. The set has long ago been dug out to house more cats when needed and the floor is covered in layers of old moss. However, due to the fact that these cats prefer the open sky above them many of the nests in here are stale and unused. The only time most warriors are found within is when the weather has turned nasty or a warrior is getting incredibly old.
Like the warriors of their Clan most apprentices prefer the open sky above them as they sleep. However, in case of bad weather they do have a den to retreat to. Far back, along the eastern corner of the WindClan camp, is an old fox den that the apprentices use. The area inside is filled with nests made of heather and moorland grass. Comfortable but skipped over continuously for the soft nests made under the shining silverpelt.

Secured against the back wall of WindClan camp is the an old and incredibly thick gorse bush. Though hidden against a well shaded area of camp it is obvious from the scent and mewls from within that it houses the future of WindClan here. The old gorse bush is highly protective, with thorns and bracken woven into the thick set. A small tunneled entrance has been made to give the queens easy access in and out. However, the entrance can easily be blocked off and destroyed if needed.
Close to the Medicine den in a series of old rabbit burrows is where the WindClan elders nest for the night. Though a rabbit burrow seems an unlikely place a few of them have been dug and connected long ago in order to give the old cats more room. Parts of what would be considered the roof of the burrow has been dug away to be replaced with heather and gorse. Giving light to the old dark burrow. Deep within it is filled with soft nests and snoring cats, for though they prefer the open sky, it is harder to achieve the older a cat gets.

Like other camps the prey that WindClan deposits for consumption is along one back side of camp. The majority of prey found here is rabbits though the occasional bird can be found. Usually the prey is bountiful but during leafbare their stockpile can grown quite low.

Board Description
WindClan Camp
In a strange dip in the earth and hidden by a surrounding barrier of gorse is the home of WindClan. Long ago there was once an old legend that says the camp was merely scooped out with a giant paw. Unlike most Clan homes there are no proper dens here; this Clan enjoys sleeping beneath the open sky unless bad weather permits otherwise.
