Marsh Lands
Unlike the other Clans in the forest ShadowClanners seem utterly immune to the stench of the wet, muddy earth underpaw. Though the muddy pools and saggy earth may seem a little daunting it adds a skill the others cannot claim too. Without the cover of trees or the ability to race after many creatures ShadowClan have claimed the art of night stalking. Prefering to hunt under the gleaming moon and the stars of silverpelt rather than under the burning sun. Many different creatures can be found through here, ranging from toads and frogs to a good supply of herbal supplies needed by the Medicine Cat.
 
Heathlands
Higher up, on much drier ground, is an extensive portion of ShadowClan territory with bright green swaying grass, sandy earth and abundant prey. Free from the boggy swamps and marshlands many flowers and plants grow forth here. Giving an ample area for prey to hide.
Pine Forest
Much like WindClan, ShadowClan's part of the forest is only marred along the edge of the Thunderpath. However, their forest home is primarily made up of low growing pine trees. The strange trees seem to struggle against the bog they grow within, although some can be found with dry ground underpaw. Their most noticeable feature is their low hanging branches which make for any easy climb. Many ShadowClan cats spend their time not only hunting along the forest floor but honing their skills within the trees as well.
 
Burnt Sycamore
Many moons ago, a terrible lightning storm lit across the night sky. The flaming marks streaked across the deep blue world, flashing the land with an unearthly white glow. It was then that this giant tree was struck with a fierce crash, lighting it up in licking flames. The charred branches leave a haunting reminder but it is a great landmark within ShadowClan territory. Here the area is used to train apprentices in the art of night stalking. Their tiny paws walk across the old blackened roots and they came slip back and forth as they stalk.
Small Stream
Branching off the Thunderpath that splits ShadowClan and ThunderClan territory is a small stream. It snakes a few tail-lengths deeper into ShadowClan territory but stops as the ground underpaw grows more wet. It is not incredibly large and does not house any fish. Yet it allows a clean space to gather water soaked moss for those who cannot leave camp to drink.
 
The Swamp
A rather frightening area to unexperienced cats but also an area of great pride for those from the fierce clan. The swampy waters and muddy sink holes can drag any cat to an underwater death. Which is why cats only come through this area in pairs. It is strictly forbidden for any cat to come alone because of how easy one can become trapped. Off to the side of the swamps is a dip where sandy earth spreads across. Here apprentices are trained in different battle technics and how to discover best places of use on how to cross the looming swamp.
Thunderpath Tunnel
A once well hidden area that allowed the ShadowClan cats to appear more fearless. It was said they could cross the Thunderpath without fear of repercussions but it is now common knowledge that they slip under a large stone slab that opens up beneath the rumbling earth to cross through.

Board Description
ShadowClan Territory
ShadowClan makes up their home in what appears to be a rather sparse dwelling. Their territory is ever-damp under paw and seemingly carpeted with hundreds of pine needles. Marshland spreads as far as the eye can see, with a few spurts of pine forest thrown into the mix. Deep bogs fill the earth here as well, with trees that are much lower to the earth.
